went to what we call ‘party rock’ on boys camp road in lake lure north carolina. it was a hot day, and melissa’s asthma stopped us short of the top, but the little hiking and climbing we got to do was fun.
Bronchial Asthma is a disease which causes inflammation in the lungs and obstructs the air passage which leads to dysnea ,Wheezing and tightness in the chest and persistent coughing.
Common causes of Asthma
Asthma occurs due to inflammation in the air passage The muscles of air passage become stiff and the lining of the air passages gets swollen when obstructs the air flow.
In sensitive patients,symptoms can occur while breathing in allergic environment.
Common allergens are .
Hair of pets
Dusty Environment
Chemical traces in food and air
Weather changes
Over Exertion
Pollens
Stress(emotions)
Smoking
Certain drugs like Aspirin
Family history of allergy or eczema
Symptoms
Long term shortness of breath
Wheezing or coughing symptoms.
Cough with or without sputum
Rapid inter costal movements
Infant who are brought up in moldy areas are more likely to develop asthma in their Child hood .
Treatment
Anti inflammatory drugs ,Broncho dialators and asthma inhalers and various other oral medicine are administered to patient on regular basis.
Salbutamol inhalation with the help of nebulizer is given for 10 min in 1:4 ratio with NS to a patient in a normal asthmatic attack.
Pregnant women can continue to take their asthma medicine it wont harm their baby anyway.

Use dehumidifier at home
Use air conditioner system
Use synthetic bed
Maintain Lenin Hygiene
Avoid pets with fur or feather
Avoids carpets
Maintain optimal cleanliness
Asthma is only preventable.
